Control System Safety Requirement

This section lists the majority of the safety devices essential to protect and ensure proper operation of a Spiralift-driven lift and specifies what actions are to be undertaken on the control system. All safety devices in this section have to be part of the hardwired protection as inherent components to a lift movement. They should never be bypassed and should be constantly monitored and should detect a positive action when conditions are safe. The physical locations of the devices listed in this section are provided as a recommendation and can be relocated for the sake of convenience.
